Rosalia
Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco performer. As a teenager she sang with traditional as well as popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player of great talent, described her voice saying that it was sweet with an old-fashioned bite. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, got an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also the Latin Grammy nod. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman ever to win both of these awards.
